Did I say she [Leta Greene] has a powerful MESSAGE? You need to hear her story. It’s so inspiring and uplifting.
Amanda Vivial - Lubbock Texas
I took away lots, but something with writing my vanity prayer affirmations really got me… Leta Greene had us write them down, I wrote down… I AM WORTHY! Well, my name AMANDA means “worthy of love”!!! Um hellur!!
You provided me with THE REAL REASON why I do what I do, and for that, I am eternally grateful. 2) I haven’ t been as successful in my business as I had hoped I would be when I started, but again, I had my priorities all wrong…and I feel like you have helped get them back in order…and now that I have a plan laid out for me in the right priority…the results will come with time and God’s help. 🙂 Thank you!!! 🙂

Thanks Leta Greene! Btw… You have no idea how much knowing you and listening to you has impacted my life and thoughts. No idea!! You’re such a blessing!
Digging such an awesome time with my daughter, Bree. We got totally spoiled by the amazingly talented (and never-forget-awesomely-riotous) famous makeup artist Leta Greene! I haven’t laughed this much in AGES! Plus, BONUS: she made all of us look like stunningly beautiful goddesses with her famous “hotness.” Gotta love this woman! Guaranteed riot. Guaranteed glam. Would love to take her on my cross-country speaking tour!
It is an amazing book! I am reading it for the second time. It’s definitely a book you can pull out every couple of months to re-read. Reading it this second time around has proved to be a valuable tool in my life…to increase my hotness. Thank you Leta for sharing your gift and life with the world. Thank you for not being afraid to shine. 🙂
I have heard Leta speak on a variety of subjects. She offers hope, optimism, and courage to those who suffer hardship, or just need a boost. I always leave feeling uplifted and inspired. She uses her own life trials and positive outlook in difficulty to lift and use that hardship for good. She is captivating!
Patricia BraithwaiteI absolutely LOVED the workshop! I gained so much helpful information about being the best I can be on the inside as well as the outside. Leta is fabulous. Her energy and enthusiasm is so infectious. There were so many great thoughts and ideas that I ran out of room writing it all down. I have already gone through my closet to reorganize and purge unused items.
MomsteachI haven’t finished the book yet, but every page I am either laughing or crying! She has overcome some incredible odds to become who she is today and can relate to every woman. I love this quote “My midsection is covered with a layer of love. That’s right: some people call them love handles (or, worse yet, fat), but I call it love. It’s the result of my romance with the three C’s: children, cheesecake, and chocolate!” She shows us how to love our bodies the way they are and realize that each woman is HOT regardless of whether they are tall, short, skinny, fat, full of scars or missing teeth. This is a must read for all women, especially those who say (don’t we all?) WHEN I lose weight, IF I had a smaller nose, IF I could afford braces…she teaches us how to be beautiful today with the body we were blessed with by making us over from the inside out- no surgery required!
Karen GillmoreLeta makes me laugh while I am learning from her. I can hear her voice in the words. Love it!
Amazon CustomerLoved it–if you need a break through with how you’re seeing life, and how you feel about yourself, this is it!Hilarious! And a breakthrough in a lot of ways. This book is that heart-to-heart with a best friend when you really, really need it. And the concept behind Vanity Prayers is powerful–made me cry. I needed those!
Jennifer YeoThe world wants to tell you how to feel about yourself or what you should be. Leta reminds us to be who we are and it only makes it easier to love ourselves! This book is great and I recommend it to every one of my girlfriends! I’m glad I have a friend in Leta!
Michele P.I loved this fun, inspiring book! It helps readers to see that there is beauty in everyone, even in someone who considers themselves the plainest Jane. Leta gives the reader insight into how to radiate beauty from within as well as some tips for your daily beauty regimen. It’s not your ordinary makeover she’s talking about. This one will change your life.
S. BerlinGreat motivational book filled with fun stories and helpful advice. Good read for teenage girls and young women, but really for anyone.
Bennie KanteThis book reflects Leta’s wit and truth as seen through the eyes and understanding of the beautiful soul that is Leta. Her keen sense of reality, her abilities to edify others through laughter as a result of personal reflection, allows others a glimpse of her shining brilliance. This woman, whom I consider a beloved sister, has bestowed a gift of love to all who read these pages – a gift that will lighten the heart and lessons that last long after turning the final page. Thank you for sharing your gifts my friend.
Jennifer M.I love the message in this book. Love yourself and treat yourself kindly. We as women are so negative toward ourselves, and we do not see the beauty that we inherently have been given. I think this is a great book for ALL women, to stop the negativity toward ourselves.
S. StaleyI loved this uplifting look at how we can start today treating ourselves so much better. We all come with different packages in life, Leta shows women how to embrace who we are with humor and some easy exercises. Readers will learn how to love what’s inside, as well as what we and the world see on the outside. I find that I’m always my worst critic, and from reading this book I’m learning how to be kinder to myself. This is a book that I will be revisiting over and over again. This book should be read by women of all ages from 12-101. It’s time that women stop the negativity and learn to value who we are. There are many tips and things to help women in this process. I highly recommend this book, in helping all women change their mental outlook on what’s important when it comes to true beauty.
M. HoltHow to Embrace Your Inner Hotness is a great book with many enjoyable life stories and life lessons from the author. Each chapter has a “hotness” challenge that will challenge you to actually look at yourself, create a bucket list, getting rid of mental waste, an enchanted mirror to yourself, and many more. I enjoyed the humor and the personal touch to each challenge. Many of us struggle with that or that about ourselves and this book does a great job of challenging each of us to accept who we are. There were many great quotes throughout this book. . . . “What does it mean to be ‘enough?’ Is our goal to be like everyone else? It shouldn’t be, because we are each a unique and special canvas created by a loving God for a particular purpose–our own, not someone else’s. Realizing our purpose is not about a fundamental transformation of our physical features; it is about a fundamental transformation of what we feel about our value.” (Page 4.) Get this book for you, your daughter, mother, anyone who could use a good laugh, cry, and a great book.
DeDe SmithA well-written, engaging book that will change your life and help you discover the unique hotness of YOU! When I started to read this book, I was thinking it would be good for me, but I didn’t realize how much it would change the way I feel about myself. I have always suffered a bit from low self-esteem and even though I know that I am a Daughter of Heavenly Father and I know that we are each loved and special – I have a hard time liking myself. This book is helping to change that. I want to read it again to concentrate more on the “Hotness Challenges” that the author puts in the book. . . . Leta Greene has a delightful writing style that is engaging and so easy to understand. In fact, for me it was like having a conversation with a friend. Her life stories were wonderfully written and helped me to see my own truths about how I see myself. I loved being able to laugh and be motivated at the same time. Read this book – you won’t regret it. It has truths for women of all ages and we all can learn from it.
BeccaWhen I was given this book to review, I assumed that it would be a little…well, fluffy. I expected “Girl Power!” and “Believe!” stuff, the type of cheesy “You’re special” book that I’ve started to read a million times (and never could get myself to finish). I was wrong and right. The author is adamant about all those things, but this book is as far from fluff as you can get. I found myself completely absorbed–laughing, crying, and nodding my head in amazement. The author was so much like me, and her voice was so conversational, that it was like having a girl’s day out conversation over lunch. I was truly sorry when it ended. Greene’s premise was interesting. At first, her voice was so positive and optimistic that I wondered if it would get irritating. After all, such an annoyingly happy person couldn’t possibly understand what it was like to be me, right? Surely she was one of those perfect built-like-a-teenage-boy women with a perfect life, who decided to write a book in her perfect spare time. But as she dove into her life–the teeth, the chin, the grandparents–oh, my! The grandparents! And then later, the health issues, medical scares, and finally the loss of her baby daughter–my heart ached. This is a woman who understands the darkest depths of life, a woman who has grieved, mourned, and experienced more than most of us. And yet, she’s chosen to be happy.“Not all thoughts are going to honor you and your purpose,” she says. “And not all thoughts will help you be awesome. You can’t control every thought that pops into your head, but you can control how long it stays there.”
Her words, stories, and methods are profound, but it’s also a blast to read. The same woman who gives advice such as “you can give to others only what you first give yourself,” also uses words like “chickybabe” and refers to Satan as “he who is stinky.” The book was powerful and inspirational as well as entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it highly to others.
kerryandam08There would not be enough room to say how much I loved this book. I laughed and cried. Some of the examples Leta shares are very personal and I was touched. This book is definitely worth the purchase price! I would recommend this book to every woman who is ready to shed negativity and move forward with her life of inner beauty!
Stacie ContrerasBought this in paperback version and LOVED it. Kept waiting to read it and when I finally sat down to I was mesmerized. So often as women we are caught up in our outward appearance and how we appear to others. What they say and think about us we take on that persona ourselves… if they say we are fat, we believe it. If they say we shouldn’t wear something, we believe them. This book made me realize we are so much more than what we think we are. We have to not only look within ourselves to find that beautiful person screaming to get out, but we have to actually allow ourselves to believe in that inner person. Believe that we are beautiful. That we have strength and worth and value and beauty. Leta pulled the veil off so many myths we tell ourselves as women each and every day. She made it fun, light-hearted, yet thought provoking. She made me want to find the INNER hotness NOW! Not tomorrow, not in a day or two or next week, but NOW!!! I can’t wait for this to be on places like Audible for my friends who refuse to read but would rather listen. It is a MUST read for our daughters who are growing up in a world all to often focusing on the outer shell of a woman rather than the entire woman. I loved it. It is a MUST read for ANY WOMAN, teenager, or preteen. Leta makes it fun to read with personal stories that will have you laughing one minute and cringing the next because you can relate.
We all want it! Our toes curl with excitement the first time a boy tells us we’re beautiful! But is sure seems easier said than done! “
Leta’s book is such an AMAZINGLY FUN AND POWERFUL READ! . . . A book that will change the way you see yourself!
Everyone feels that they are NOT ENOUGH~ “Beauty hang-ups are the adult version of the boogie man. They encompass all those sinister, lurking ideas about which parts of ourselves are less than beautiful..”
We don’t have a beauty problem, we have a vision problem~ seeing things as they really are!
We are beautiful BECAUSE of our uniqueness!
As a professional beauty expert, Leta wishes she could spend one-on-one time with each woman, because she has been there…
Leta grew up with a big gap between her teeth…It got fixed…but after an accident where she lost a tooth…Leta now wears a fake tooth that has to be taken out when she eats…
Instead of feeling embarrassed, she uses it as an ‘ice breaker.’
Her vision has changed! Because Leta just can’t sit down with everyone…She wrote this book!
Filled with funny stories—this book will help you learn “15 simple steps—a transformation that will make you irresistibly and lastingly hot.”
Each chapter ends with a HOTNESS CHALLENGE~
Laugh along with the stories that will resonate with your personal stories!
Let Leta teach you how to change your vision!
Learn how to “EMBRACE YOUR HOTNESS!”
EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK!
A WONDERFUL TRANSFORMATION IS WAITING!
Amazon CustomerLaughed and cried with Leta! She makes you feel like a close friend and talks to you about the lessons she’s learned in life through triumph and loss. Vanity Prayers will be something that I start doing today! My daughter has told me so much about them.
Ann WilsonI finished your book tonight! I loved it and wished there was MORE OF IT! Well done!
Joni Rogers-KanteIf there’s one thing I know, it’s the importance of image in attracting what women want in life! Leta Greene has managed to tap into the secrets behind the kind of self-image women are striving for. Now she shares those realizations in fifteen powerful steps that will help transform you-guide you through your own myths to the breakthroughs you haven’t imagined possible. Forget what you’ve heard about beauty before now, because you’ll walk away from the witty book with the know-how to re-create yourself in ways that will make you the hottest ticket in town.
Jaime VillagomezLeta Greene..great speech..perfectly delivered and with a message for everyone. Really, who doesn’t have an insecurity or two in our closet that seems to hold us back like a rubber band?!?! And nice intro Mr. MC, Jason Hewlett. I encourage my friends on Facebook to invest a few minutes of your time and be inspired to think differently about how you may see yourself. What I love most about Leta is that she is really sincere about her message as it is her story of self discovery. She is so dang real and salt of the earth..yet glamorous. I love how silly and approachable she is in real life. And I love how she has conquered low self-esteem. I believe God allows for us challenges in life but also equips us with the gifts to overcome…Sometimes the gift is as simple as a sliver of hope. Be inspired friends! Enjoy….
Cindy WatsonI just have to give a shout out to my friend and your humble leader, Leta Greene!!! . . . I stayed up until 12:30 last night finishing Leta’s book!! At times, I couldn’t even see the pages clearly for all the tears running down my face!!! If you haven’t gotten your copy of this book, DO NOT HESITATE!!! Order one and read it now!! I literally could not put it down! I started reading part 2 last night and could not stop!!! I am intending on reading it again starting today, and outlining passages and doing all the assignments that she gives you to do!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story with us girl!!! I feel like I have known you all of my life and will always cherish this book!!! My daughter, Lexie, was born on May 24, 1991! When I read the date that Katelyn had joined her in heaven I was in awe and AMAZED, SAD, and OVERJOYED that Lexie had a new friend to join her on her birthday!!! We were meant to meet just as they were!!! You are so special Leta, and I just had to share this!!! I love you so much and am so honored to have you as my Friend!!!
Barbara Parker PurvisI’m just a customer right now, but the thing I loved about Leta’s demo was that she wasn’t trying to sell me something…she was teaching me how to apply my makeup and delivering an inspiring message about my ‘inner hotness’ to me and she made me feel like she really cared that I got the message that I’m HOT!!! That’s what sold me 🙂

I received my book today and already started reading it. You don’t know how many times I wanted to as you if you could council me and here is your book. I can’t tell you how much this book is going to help me change me. Thank you for obeying god and writing this handbook for women. There are so many women that feel the same way you did and they want to have the joy of the lord shining through them like you do. I know it’s going to change so many lives. I know it is changing mine. Thank you and God bless you.
I had the honor of reading Leta Greene’s new “How to Embrace Your Inner Hotness” book, and I just loved it! Leta makes you feel like her favorite girlfriend and shares her life stories and advice with you along the way. I laughed and cried with her throughout the journey. . . . If there’s anything you can take from this book it’s the section about Vanity Prayers. She teaches you to look in the mirror at yourself deep in your eyes and peer into your soul. To be real with yourself and really analyze the things you are saying to yourself, and to be aware of the things you are telling yourself. She gives you the tools to reprogram your thoughts and how you speak to yourself. To only say the things your nicest girlfriend would say to you. This becomes a great daily ritual when you are getting ready for the day . . . I would recommend this book to all my friends, my sisters, my mother, my grandmother, and all the wonderful women in my life. . . .
Leta gave me the strength I needed to keep going. Thank you.
Leta is awesome. So funny, yet so touching. Great combination of emotions and relatable stories. I learned a lot of great new life lessons.
Thank you for sharing your message with us. I loved it and feel like I want to do better in life.
You are a wonderful person and have inspired me not only to love myself more but to love every one more.
What you said is exactly what I needed to hear. You are an amazing woman. You made me realize that life’s what I make it.
Thank you so much for sharing of your experiences. Hearing the things you shared with us- buoyed my soul and whispered, “you can go on.”
Your speech taught me a lot about self confidence and trusting in the Lord. I will always remember to tell others.
Mandi Brady, Coordinator of Miss Draper
Inspirational! Fun! Your gifts are a blessing. Your time, talents, and presentation were perfect. Thank you and I will continue to tell everyone where to go for their inner and outer beauty!
Thanks for all you’ve done to help me feel beautiful. You are an amazing, talented woman—a ray of sunshine!!
Doree Strauss, Principal at Daybreak Elementary
I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Greene as the principal of Daybreak Elementary, where she had two students attending. She is one of those people that you can count on! … Tragedy struck this family some years ago and of course she came through it with her head up, looking for a way to turn her sadness into a positive resource to other parents. She began giving inspirational presentations throughout the valley. We approached her asking her to provide a school-wide collaboration assembly promoting self-esteem. It was so fun and up-beat, her smile and personality were contagious. Our students were treated to an hour of comedic anecdotes to today’s serious issues.
I love that she is so motivating to put away excuses and love myself. Her energy is amazing. I love her!
She doesn’t just get things out of books talking about real life experiences. She knows stuff you can’t learn in school, helping me a lot with sales and working with customers. She genuinely loves people, is excited, entertaining, and she is real.” Lance “Real life tips for maintaining a current but practical look… oh yeah and she is funny!
Leta makes you laugh, cry, and inspires you to make goals and reach them.
Imagine entering an environment where you aren’t encouraged to tear down yourself and disguise all things that make you… you! That is what Leta is all about. She is about loving. She is about confidence. She is about taking care of what is important in life… She emphasizes true beauty from inside out.
Teri Forsyth, Daybreak Elementary Collaboration Department
I am happy to recommend Leta Greene for her wonderful presentations she gives. We have had Leta come to our school for many years and her presentations are always amazing! I am very impressed with Leta and her ability to connect with all ages. She is very energetic, engaging and her presentations are very interactive. She connects with children and captures their attention the entire time. She is so dynamic that we always want to her have back to speak. Our students are thrilled when Leta gives a presentation.
